Palawan's best kept secrets

I'm truly blessed! I have been given so many opportunities to travel to Palawan (my favorite city in the country). This time I was able to have my mom and my Bf with me in this wonderful trip. I decided to book a ticket a few months backfor an early celebration of my birthday the same month and got a rate.

A definite must do in Palawan:

*get a travel agent to book your trips! :) Less hassle more fun! For trip bookings you can contactPasyar Tours.

1) Underground River Tour - Okay so its not the best kept secret anymore, but it is still one of the best places in Palawan. Prepare to wait though specially if you travel during the peak season, a lot of people visit this wonder. The wait is worth it though, besides wouldn't you want to see the future "8th wonder of the world"? :P

2) Mangrove Paddle Tour - Since you are in the area of the Underground River, I suggest you also include the Mangrove Paddle Tour and meet Lady Mangrove in person! :) Expect a lecture on Mangroves, A face to face with the Tamilok (Woodworm), Snakes on the branches, beautiful chirping from birds I could not distinguish, a mangrove song (which you will be singing to yourself even after the trip) and just a happy feeling. Lady Mangrove sure has this effervescence and it was getting to us as well.

3) Dolphin Watching - Unlike in some areas, Dolphins here are everywhere. You will not be disappointed! you will definitely see a minimum of 30 dolphins, from my previous visit I saw more than a hundred!

4) Firefly Watching - Fireflies? Yes fireflies! I didn't know till Pasyar Tours mentioned it to me. So we squeezed it on the night before our return back to Manila. It was worth it! No words or pictures will suffice to explain the emotions experienced there. I felt like a kid again looking at so many christmas lights on the trees and in the water. Since it was not too visible on the pictures and the video, I decided to buy the glow in the dark painting they were selling there. :)

I have so many experiences in Palawan that were so worth my while. Catch more of my posts about Palawan soon :)
