One of my officemates gave us a "pasalubong" from one of his monitoring trips…I had the honor of tasting it first and boy was I amazed at the taste! The bread looked like a regular small soft monay(monay nga ba tawag dun?!) but inside was different…the consistency was thick and the taste was sweet but was still in the right note. It was so yummy I suddenly had nostalgia of my lola's toffee.
Everyone should try this unique yummy treat! They call it Pastel (for reason I don’t know of), its one of the most popular "pasalubong from Camiguin. Not only will you enjoy the treat, you will promote Filipino products. Go Pinoy! buy pinoy!
